Larry Glenn Loflin

Mr. Larry Glenn Loflin, 71, died Friday, March 21, 2025 at his home.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Jim Williams officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following  the service at the cemetery, or anytime at  106 Duke Street, Great Falls.

Larry was born April 27, 1953 in Chester County and was the son of the late Harold Jesse Loflin and Nellie Simmons Loflin. He was a graduate of Great Falls High School and after working with Duke Power he opened his own towing and auto body repair shop. He took great pride in his work and the friends he made. Larry was elected to Great Falls City Council in 2019 and served two terms and was honorary president of Great Falls Auto Parts.

He is survived by his wife Lisa Mendenhall Loflin; one brother, Keith Loflin (Susie) of Great Falls, SC; his brother-in-law Jeff Mendenhall (Beth) of Lake Wateree and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, William Ronald, Harold Donald and Richard W. Loflin and one nephew, William Keith Loflin.

Memorials may be made to Greenlawn Cemetery, PO Box 191, Great Falls, SC 29055. or to the charity of one's choice.
