Great Falls Mrs. Leota Annie Slayton Taylor, 86, died Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, February 26, 2022, at New Hope Baptist Church in Heath Springs withRev. Steven Pace and Rev. Patrick Clark and officiating.Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Great Falls.The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church. Mrs. Taylor was born June 1, 1935 in Newberry County, SC and was a daughter of the late Marion Slayton and Annie Campbell Slayton.She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and Lancaster Vocational School where she received her LPN degree. She is survived by her husband, Walter L. Taylor; one son, Kenneth Taylor of Heath Springs; on grandson, Zachary Taylor of Lexington; two sisters, Marcell Driggers of Summerville and Glurose Sweat of Mt. Pleasant.
