Great Falls Mr. Lex Moshel Raffaldt, 86, died Monday, October 14, 2013, at his home.A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. David McDaniels officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM on Wednesday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC. Mr. Raffaldt was born in Chesterfield, SC and was a son of the late Jesse F. Raffaldt and Ida Steen Raffaldt .He attended the schools of Chesterfield County, SC and York Tech, and was retired from Springs Industries and J.P. Stevens.Mr. Raffaldt was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife of more than 67 years, Carolyn Threatt Raffaldt; three daughters, Sandra Dassaro and husband Mike of Lancaster, Diane McBride and husband Roger of Lancaster , and Sara Hollingsworth and husband John of Rock Hill; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by a grandson, Billy M.
