Linda Gale Griffin Naniot, 77, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026. Are services will be private.
Born in Charlotte, North Carolina, on April 13, 1949, Linda lived a life filled with vibrance, love, and unforgettable presence. In 1966, fate intervened when she went on a blind date set up by mutual friends and met the love of her life, Lawrence Naniot. Together, they built a beautiful life and made their home in Great Falls, South Carolina, where they raised their two sons.
Linda was truly one of a kind—outspoken, fun-loving, and unapologetically herself. She possessed a sparkling personality that could instantly brighten any room she walked into. She had a passion for all things girly, taking joy in makeup, jewelry, and polished nails, and she always loved the thrill of a good shopping trip. A unique creative at heart, she was also an avid collector of buttons, finding delight and beauty in life's subtle details. Above all, Linda loved her family fiercely. Her warmth, humor, and vibrant spirit left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 60 years, Lawrence Naniot; her loving son, Dean Naniot (Kimberly); her cherished grandchildren, Taylor Carter (Eric), Dustin Naniot (Hannah), Kayla Naniot, Samantha Naniot (Trenton), and Ashley Naniot (Antonio); and her treasured great-grandchildren, Tegan, Kensleigh, Juliette, Mason, Malcolm, Gunner, Grayson, and Baby Childers; as well as a loving circle of extended family and friends who will miss her deeply.
Flowers, donations, and expressions of sympathy for the family may be sent to the family residence: Naniot Family, 177 Quarry Road Great Falls.
