Great Falls Mrs. Linda Smith Heath, 69, died Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Springs Memorial Hospital.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Grover Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the home. Mrs. Heath was born December 3, 1944 in Lafayette, Georgia and was a daughter of the late William Clarence Smithand Lucille Parker Smith.She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and the former owner and operator of Smith’s Truck Stop and Mitford Mall.Mrs. Heath was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of over forty years, Marion E. Heath; one daughter, Andre Evans Shepherd (Hayden) of Irmo; one son, Richie Evans (Shannon) of Lancaster; and three grandchildren, Elizabeth Shepherd, Parker Shepherd, and Cody Evans.
