Great Falls Mrs. Linda Louise Varnadore Roberts, 71, died, Tuesday September 25, 2018 at Palmetto Health Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, SC.A memorial service will be held at1:00 PM Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Mt. Zion Baptist Churchwith Rev. Andy Simpson and Rev J.D. Wilsonofficiating. The family will receive friends 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the church . Interment will be private. Mrs. Roberts was born May 19, 1947 in Blackstock, SC and was a daughter of the late John Olin Varnadore and Inez Bell Varnadore. She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and attended York Tech, and was formerly employed with Cinderella Knitting Mill in Great Falls and Bose Electronics in BlythewoodSC .Mrs. Roberts was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and was active in many other departments in the church. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Harvey Jimmy Roberts; one son Jason Roberts (Beverly) of Lexington, SC; two sisters Beulah Wright (Willie) of Great Falls, SC, Brenda Price of Columbia, SC; three grandchildren, Austin Fink, Chloe Fink, and Aaron Fink and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters. Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church “ Property Improvement”, 6924 Wateree Rd, Great Falls, SC 29055.
