Great Falls Mr. Luis Manuel Lugo, 78, died Tuesday, January 8, 2019. at Atrium Health –Union in Monroe, NC. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at Dantzler Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Bishop officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Wednesday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, Great Falls, SC. Mr. Lugo was born April 12, 1940 in Phoenix, AZ and was a son of the late Luis Angel Lugo. and Lucille Violet Hawkins Lugo. He attendedWest High School in Phoenix, AZ and was retired from Bonitz Construction as a truck driver. Luis loved trapping, hunting and fishing, he was an avid outdoorsman. He is survived by four children, Lorie Burrows of Tacoma, WA, Lucy Duncan of Great Falls, SC, Luis R. Lugo (Montiece) of Lincolnton, NC, and Loran Lugo (Michelle) of Tacoma, WA; six grandchildren, Jessica Burrows of Great Falls, SC, Lucille Duncan of Tacoma, WA, Benjamin Duncan of Great Falls, SC Rosalita Mitton of Tacoma, WA, Kimberly Lugo of Tacoma, WA, Jason Leach of Tacoma, WA; five great grandchildren, Sumer, Keonna, Sebastian, Blake, Zaiden; two sisters Billie Haynie of Texas, Lucy Ratcliff of California; numerous nieces and nephews Online condolences may be made to the family at www.dantzlerbakerfuneralhome.com
