Great Falls Mrs. Lynda Baker Hedgepath, 70, formerly of Great Falls, died Thursday, May 9, 2013, at the home of her daughter in Sheldon, SC.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 13, 2013, at Elmwood Cemetery in Ft. Lawn, SC with Rev. David Sealy officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC. Mrs. Hedgepath was born September 28, 1942 in Great Falls and was a daughter of the late James Granville Baker and Beatrice Roddey Baker.She attended the schools of Great Falls, was a member of Richburg Baptist Church, co-owner of H&S Septic Tank Service and also worked as a certified nursing assistant.Mrs. Hedgepath was an avid reader and she loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Danny Hedgepath and wife Cindy of Sheldon, SC, Angel Ernandez and husband Wayne of Richburg, Sandy Covington of Ft. Lawn, and James Hedgepath and wife Rhonda of Ft. Lawn; ten grandchildren, D.J. Hedgepath, Nikki Hedgepath, Brandon Hedgepath, Tyler Covington, Michael Dean Gibson, Jasmine Allen, Ron Ernandez, and wife Michelle, Robbie Boswell, Bailey Boswell, and Shania Boswell; four great-grandchildren, Jaden Stabler, Donna Grace Hedgepath, Alex Ernandez, and Lydia Ernandez; five sisters, Yvonne Vinson of Chester, Jean Jourdan and husband Eugene of Goose Creek, Peggy Gregory and husband Ralph of Chester, Sue Payne and husband Bruce of Great Falls, and Meredith Baker of Rock Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Dean Hedgepath; a son, Jeffery Dean Hedgepath, a daughter-in-law, Donna Hedgepath, and a great-grandson, Ian Coleman.
