Lynda Lathan Mcfarland

Mrs. Lynda Faye Lathan McFarland, 79, died Sunday, June 23, 2024 at MUSC Lancaster Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, June 28, 2024 at Dantzler Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Hensley officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Dantzler Baker Funeral Home. Mrs. McFarland was born July 2, 1944 in Great Falls, SC and was the daughter of the late Will Lathan and Margaret Whitley Lathan. She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and York Tech and was a homemaker. Lynda enjoyed cross-stich, sewing, and crocheting. She was a member of Mitford Baptist Church. She is survived by one son Kristopher McFarland of Great Falls, SC; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Keith McFarland and her daughter Heather McFarland; brothers, Wayne Brazzell and Doug Lathan.
