Mabel Robinson Williams

Great Falls Mabel Robinson Williams, age 80,passed peacefully on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at The Lancaster Convalescent Center.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Union Presbyterian Church in Richburg with the Rev. Greg Bathchelor officiating. Mabel was the daughter of Frank and Mabel Williams and a life-long resident of Great Falls.Known to many as "Sis", Mabel will be remembered for her work at the Dixie Home Store and the Piggly-Wiggly.Mabel was also a life-long member of the First Baptist Church of Great Falls and an active member of her Sunday School Class.She is preceded in death by her four brothers:Talmadge Jeremiah (Tal), Robert F. (Short), Sam, and Dr. Charlie Guy.Mabel is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC from 12:30 until 1:30 PM on Wednesday, October 28, 2009.
