Great Falls, SC Mrs. Mae Margaree Beckham Moss, 89, of Great Falls died Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Winnsboro, SC. The funeral will be 11:00 A.M. Friday at First Baptist Church of Great Falls with Reverend Greg Batchelor officiating.Interment will in Greenlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Moss was born July 24, 1919 in Lancaster County, SC, a daughter of the late John R. and Mamie Irene Bowers Beckham. She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and retired from Coca Cola as a Hostess.She was a member of First Baptist Church and the widow of Forrest Brown Moss. Surviving are one daughter, Gail Gatesand her husband John of Winnsboro, SC; one son, Terry Moss of Columbia, SC; twelve grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren; one brother, David Beckham of Fort Mill, SC; two sisters, Nancy Johnson of Rock Hill, SC and Carleen O’Hara of Uncasville, Connecticut. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Avenue, Great Falls.
