Great Falls, SC Mrs. Margaret Yarbrough Norsworthy, 69, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Prisma Health Heart Hospital in Columbia. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 6964 Wateree Road, Great Falls, SC with Rev. J.D. Wilson officiating, with visitation prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. The family will receive friends Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, March 2-4, 2023, at the home of her niece, Tammy Snipes, at 100 Edgewood Avenue, Great Falls. Margaret was born April 18, 1953, in Chester, SC. She was the daughter of the late George and Betty Eudy Yarbrough and was a graduate of Great Falls High School. Prior to retirement, Margaret committed her life to public service as a nurse, having worked many of those years alongside her sister, Barbara. Her favorite job, however, began when she became “Mimi.” Margaret loved spoiling her granddaughters, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Ed; one daughter, Judy “Sissy” Puckett (Chris) of Great Falls; two granddaughters, Lilly and Callie Puckett; one sister, Barbara Yarbrough Evans of Great Falls and two brothers, Mike Yarbrough (Kim) of Rock Hill and Robbie Yarbrough (Sharon) of Great Falls. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Tammy Snipes (Ken), Matthew Yarbrough, Brittany Hunter, Ashlyn Boykin (Brandyn), Madey Gleaves (Michael), Peyton Yarbrough, Aaron Blackmon, and Greyson Yarbrough, and great nieces and nephews, Zach Snipes (Bryanna) and Avery, Shyann, Briggs and Adaleigh Hunter. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Tommy Evans. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Truckers Ministry, Mt.
