Great Falls Mrs. Margaret Rainer Alley Stroud, 82, died Sunday, April 24, 2011 at Chester Regional Nursing Center.A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Lando Cemetery with Rev. Marion Dry officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the home of Wayne Alley, 3838 School House Rd., Lando, SC. Mrs. Stroud was born July 27, 1928 in Lando, SC and was a daughter of the late James Pressley and Leila Payne Rainer.She attended the schools of Lando and was a weaver with Manetta and Springs Mills and later worked for Eberts Sports Wear in Great Falls.She attended Second Baptist Church of Great Falls. She is survived by two sons, Thomas Wayne Alley and his wife Brenda of Lando and Roger Dale Alley of Chester; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Judy Collins of Ware Shoals, SC and Mrs. Diane Payne of Lando; one stepson, Devonne Stroud of Rock Hill; one sister, Mrs. Romay Curtis of Fort Lawn; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
