Marguerite Kendrick Stevenson

Richburg Mrs. Marguerite Kendrick Stevenson, 87, died Tuesday, July 9, 2013.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Chambers officiating and a eulogy by Kim Carpenter.Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the social hall of the church. Mrs. Stevenson was born February 5, 1926 in Greenville County, SC and was a daughter of the late R.C. Kendrick and Rebecca Quinn Kendrick.She was a graduate of Simpsonville High School and Winthrop College and worked as a dietician for more than 40 years at Chester County Hospital.Mrs. Stevenson was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, Carlisle Stevenson and his wife Becky of Lancaster and Michael Stevenson and his wife Martha of Lake Wateree; one daughter, Janie S. Dukes and her husband Corbey of Guatemala; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Kendrick and wife Frances of Taylors, SC; and a sister-in-law, Judy Kendrick of Valparaiso, Indiana..
