N. Augusta, SC Mark Edward Evans, 63, formerly of Great Falls, died Friday, January 18, 2019, in N. Augusta, Georgia.All services will be private. Mr. Evans was born August 31, 1955 in Lancaster, SC and was a son of the late Floyd Edward Evans and YuVawn Pendergrass Evans.He was a graduate of Great Falls High School, a veteran of the U.S. Army and formerly employed with Vision Works in Columbia, SC.Mark was a person of faith who enjoyed playing the guitar and sharing his talent with others. He is survived by one brother, Michael Keith Evans of Great Falls; one sister, Sandra Evans Kennington (Mel) of Great Falls; and two nephews, Chris Kennington (Chasidy) of Great Falls and Elliott Evans of Fort Mill.Mark was preceded in death by a sister, Amanda Evans Herlth.
