Richburg Mrs. Martha Morrow McClain, 84, died Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Lancaster Health and Rehabilitation.Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC with Rev. Dr. Marty Roberts officiating.Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home. Mrs. McClain was born February 15, 1937 in Albemarle, NC and was a daughter of the late Mortimer Morrow and Beulah Rogers Morrow.She was a graduate of Albemarle High School and attended Morgan’s Business School.She was formerly employed with Albemarle Chamber of Commerce.Martha was a member of First Baptist Church of Great Falls where she served as organist for 31 years.Martha’s musical talent was widely known and she served as organist for many weddings and funerals at numerous churches and venues in Chester, Lancaster and Fairfield counties. She is survived by one son, William David McClain (Karen) of Heath Springs; one daughter, Elizabeth Lee (Al) of Catawba; three grandchildren, Jennifer Jackson of Lancaster, Connor McClain (Holly) of Lancaster and Ethan McClain of Heath Springs; four great grandchildren, Makayla Cole (Daniel) of Lancaster, Aleyna McClain, Marlie Ava McClain and Madelyn Rose McClain all of Lancaster;and one great-great granddaughter, Scarlett Cole of Lancaster .Mrs. McClain was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, William Carson McClain; an infant child, Ann Lee; and a sister, Nancy Hall.
