Martha Elizabeth Mcdonald Moore

Blackstock Mrs. Martha Elizabeth “Betty” McDonald Moore, 95, died Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at her home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Hebron Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jim Williams officiating. The family will receive friends in the social hall of the church immediately following the service. Mrs. Moore was born October 19, 1924 in Blackstock, SC and was a daughter of the late Martin Yongue McDonald and Mary Gaither McDonald. She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and retired from the Chester County School System as a Cafeteria Manager. Mrs. Moore was a member of Hebron Presbyterian Church. She is survived by one son; Dexter C. Moore, Jr. (Susan) of Rock Hill, SC; two grandchildren, Dexter Conrad Moore III (Tricia) ofCharleston, SC and Coleman Powell Moore of Rock Hill, SC. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband, Dexter Conrad "DC" Moore; five sisters, Sarah Eunice Phail, Gaither Bankhead, Roberta McDonald, Joyce Orban, Sylvester McCarley and her brother, Dan McDonald Memorials may be made to Hebron Presbyterian Church, 4776 Mountain Gap Road, Blackstock, SC 29014.
