Mr. Marvin N. Black, 93, died Monday, May 28, 2018, at Springs Memorial Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, May 31, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Shuford and Rev. Thurmond Johnson officiating.Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery with Masonic rites.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, May 30, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC. Mr. Black was born December 29, 1924 in Chester County, SC.He attended the schools of Chester County and was retired as a loom fixer with J.P. Stevens. He is survived by one son, Keith Black of Great Falls; one daughter, Frieda B. Ross (David) of Cayce; one granddaughter, Kimberly Corley (Henry) of West Columbia; and three great grandsons, Logan, Nathan and Jackson Corley.Mr. Black was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Turner Black.
