Great Falls Mary Anita Ellis died Friday, December 17, 2021, at MUSC Health Florence.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 27, 2021 at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Michael Morrison officiating.The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service. All family and friends are welcomed to join the service. Ms. Ellis was born April 3, 1949 in Great Falls, SC and was a daughter of the late Chesney Leon “Buck” Ellis and Dorothy Lee Broom Ellis.She attended the schools of Great Falls and was formerly employed with J.P. Stevens. Anita had so much love for her children, grandkids and great grandchildren. She loved life and laughter and brightened any room she walked into. She was loved by so many, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Until we see you again, dance and rejoice with Wayne. We know you are the happiest Angel in Heaven. We’ll be missing you. She is survived by one son, Bobby Ray Green (Missy) of Jacksonville, FL; one daughter, Lisa Morrison of Anderson, SC; four grandchildren, Kayla, Alan, Cyrus and Hunter; five great grandchildren, Aubree, Juliana, Derek, Alaina and Julian; one sister, Carolyn Green (Brad) of Rincon, GA; and one brother, Jim Parker (Marcene) of Great Falls, SC.
