Camden Mrs. Mary Ruth Isenberg Ford, 97, formerly of Great Falls and a resident of Springdale Health Care in Camden, SC for the past seven years, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 26, 2011, at First Baptist Church of Great Falls with Rev. Curtis Cameron officiating. Interment will follow at Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Friday, August 26, at First Baptist Church, 606 Dearborn St., Great Falls, SC. Mrs. Ford was born April 12, 1914 in Hawkins County, Tennessee and was a daughter of the late Jasper S. Isenberg and Laura Jane Webb Isenberg.She attended the schools of Great Falls and was retired from J.P. Stevens as a quiller machine operator.She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Young at Heart Senior Group.She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She is survived by one son, Robert H. “Bob” Ford, III and wife Ann of Lugoff; three grandchildren, Georgia Ford of Camden, SC, Rob Ford, IV of Wilmington, NC, and Kayte Haudenshild and husband Shane of Lugoff, SC; two great grandchildren, Ella and Ford Haudenshild of Lugoff; a sister-in-law, Mae Cauthen of Great Falls.She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Ford, Jr.; three sisters, Georgia Gregory, Farria Mae Green, and Eyre Rowe; and five brothers, Charlie, Harry, Jake, Everett, and Rastus Isenberg.
