Mary Pauline Hefner Small

Edgemoor, SC:Mary Pauline Hefner Small, 81, died Friday, May 11, 2012 at her home. A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Lando Church of God with Reverend Edward Harris and Dr. Larry Soles officiating.Interment will be held in Lando Cemetery.The family will receive friends Monday evening, May 14, 2012 at the home of her son, Chris Christopher, 2064 Tiger Paw Lane, York, SC, 29745. Mrs. Small was born in Lando, SC on August 24, 1930. She was a daughter of the late Curtis Hefner and Jerusha Laney Hefner. She attended the schools of Chester County and was a graduate of York Technical College and a member of Lando Church of God. Mrs. Small retired from the City of Rock Hill. She was the widow of Irby Wayne Small. Mrs. Small was one of fourteen children. She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Small of Blythewood, SC; three sons, Joel Christopher of York, SC, Mike Christopher of Lancaster, SC and Chris Christopher of Lake Wylie, SC; one sister, Dorothy Evans of Edgemoor, SC; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Richard P. Christopher. Memorials may be made to Lando Church of God, PO Box 84, Richburg, SC 29729.
