Maryanne Lucas GREAT FALLS:Mrs. Maryanne Yanosick Lucas died Sunday, September 21, 2008 at her residence. A memorial service will be 5: 00 P.M. Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Great Falls.Fathers of the Oratory will officiate.Interment will be private. Mrs. Lucas was born August 15, 1952 in Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of Thomas B. and Helen Seba Yanosick.She received a B.A. degree from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in Biology from Winthrop University.She was a biology teacher at Great Falls High School. Surviving are her husband, Kenneth E. Lucas; sons, Michael T. Snipes and Andrew Snipes of Great Falls; her parents, Thomas and Helen Yanosick of Warren, PA; sisters, Susan Yanosick of Pittsburg, PA and Kathleen Scheidhauer of Taylors, SC; brother, Thomas B. Yanosick, Jr.and his wife Christine of Pittsburg, PA; and step-daughters, Keri L. Lucas and Keena Funderburk of Great Falls.Twice married, Mrs. Lucas was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Snipes, who died in January 2000. The family will receive friends anytime at the residence, 2202 Stroud Road, Richburg, SC.
