Great Falls Mrs. Maye Dean Wade, 96, died Saturday, February 22, 2014, at White Oak Manor in Lancaster, SC.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 24, 2014 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Rev. John Rumford officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hallimmediately following the interment. Mrs. Wade was born February 24, 1917 in Whitmire, SC and was a daughter of the late John Payne Dean and Eunice Barber Dean and the widow of Raymond F. Wade.She was a graduate of Great Falls High School, attended Spartanburg Junior College and was a retired clerical secretary with J.P. Stevens Co.Mrs. Wade was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She is survived by one son-in-law, Kenneth Taylor of Lancaster and one grandson, Zachary Taylor of Charleston, SC.She was preceded in death by a daughter, June Wade Taylor; one brother, Clair Dean; and one sister, Daisy Everett.
