Richburg Mr. Michael Anthony Beer, 64, died Friday, August 28, 2015, at Carolina Medical Center in Pineville.Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Mt. ProspectUnited Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Chambers officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday at Mt. ProspectUnited Methodist Church. Mr. Beer was born March 19, 1951 in Decatur, Indiana and was a son of Betty Zane Lichtenberger Beer and the late Dale T. Beer.He was a graduate of Great Falls High School and was owner of Mike’s Pump Service & Well Drilling.He was a member of Rossville Fire Dept. and Rossville Community Center and an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.Mr. Beer was a member of Mt. Prospect United Methodist Church where he was a member of the choir. In addition to his mother, Betty L.Beer of Richburg, he is survived by his wife, RebeccaJo Cathedge Beer; two daughters, Tracy Leslie (Gregg) of Charlotte and Amy Tate (John) of Ridgeway; two brothers, Randy Beer (June) of West Columbia and Gregg Beer of Richburg; two sisters, Angela Beer (Dwain Holden)of Charlotte and Arlynn Neal of Great Falls; three grandchildren, Hunter and Matthew Tate and Madeleine Leslie; one step-daughter, Beth McManus of Newberry; and two step-grandchildren, Starr Pigg and Dustin Pigg.
