GREAT FALLS, SC: Mr. Michael Robert Montgomery, 70, died Saturday, May 28, 2016 at his home.The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, May 30, 2016at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home.The interment will be private. Born August 8, 1945 in Lancaster, SC, Mr. Montgomery was the son of the late Henry Montgomery and Leona Caskey Montgomery.He was a graduate of Great Falls High School and attended York Technical College. He was a transmission line engineer with Duke Power Company for fifty years.Mr. Montgomery was a member of Great Falls Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, Patsy H. Montgomery; two step-children, Jason and Pam Rapp of Columbia, SC and one sister, Joyce Tice (John) of Monroe, NC.He was preceded in death by a grandson Blake Horn.
