Mildred Denise Hood Moore

Mrs. Mildred Denise Hood Moore, 58, died Thursday, May 26, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. J.D. Wilson officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Thursday, June 9 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Mrs. Moore was born December, 15, 1963 and was the daughter of the late Jimmy Hood. She attended the schools of Fairfield County and was formerly employed with Bruce’s Greenhouse in Blythewood and also Grand Central. Denise was an avid Gamecock fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and reading. She is survived by two daughters, Brandi McManus (Steven) of Winnsboro, SC and DeeAnn Patrick of Gloucester City, NJ; four grandchildren, Rebecca McManus, Austin McManus, Haley Davis and Daniel Gurling, Jr. Memorials may be made to Friends of Animals, PO Box 58, Chester, SC 29706.
