Great Falls Mr. Milum Trent, 86, died Tuesday, December 25, 2012, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 28, 2012 at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Patrick Blackmon and Rev. Curtis Cameron officiating.Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 27, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC. Mr. Trent was born March 28, 1926 in Sneedville, Tennessee and was a son of the late Samuel Howard Trent and Nancy Jane Neely Trent.He attended the schools of Sneedville, Tenn. and retired from J.P. Stevens Company.Mr. Trent was a member of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church in Sneedville, Tenn. and attended Trinity Baptist Church of Great Falls.He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Lancaster and was active with the Great Falls Senior Citizens. He is survived by his wife of more than 59 years, Margaret Webb Trent;one son, Terry M. Trent and wife Tina of Great Falls; one daughter, Marsha T. Blakley of Rock Hill; five grandchildren, Allison Blakley and Heather Blakley both of Rock Hill, Brad Trent of Great Falls, Jonathan Trent and Lindsey Trent both of Great Falls; and one great-grandson, Caiden James Oakes of Rock Hill.He was preceded in death by two brothers, Theodore Trent and John Henry Trent,and four sisters, Irene Laforce, Kate Riley, Gerthie Johnson, and Gladys Lasure.
