Nancy Helen Rollins Ghent

Mrs. Nancy Helen Rollins Ghent, age 59, of Great Falls died Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Providence Hospital Northeast in Columbia, SC. Funeral services will be Friday at 3:00 PM at Second Baptist Church in Great Falls with the Rev. Sam Kennington officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Great Falls. Born June 22, 1950, she was the daughter of Charles Rollins, Jr. and Alice Margaret Martin Rollins. She attended Chester County schools and was retired from Duracell Battery Co. in Lancaster, SC where she was an assembly line worker. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Great Falls. Surviving are her husband, Samuel “Sammy” Gilbert Ghent; one son, Shon Ghent (Jamie) of York, SC; one daughter, Tonya Melton (Ricky) of Blythewood, SC; three grandchildren; and one brother, Ronald Rollins of York, SC.
