Great Falls Nancy Beckham Johnson, 85, died Monday, September 21, 2015 at her daughter’s home in Rock Hill, SC. A graveside service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Greenlawn Cemetery with her son-in-law, Dale Klepper officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home. Born May 19, 1930, in Great Falls, SC,she was a daughter of the late John Rueben Beckham and Mamie Bowers Beckham and the widow of Ivo Arvie Johnson. She was a 1947 graduate of Great Falls High School and retired from Standard Products in Winnsboro, SC. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Great Falls, SC.She loved birdwatching and her dog, Benny. She is survived by one son, Derek Johnson (Frances)of Hubert, NC; one daughter, Melanee Elva Johnson Klepper (Dale) of Rock Hill, SC; eight grandchildren which includes Taylor Klepper with whom she lived; fourteen great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and one sister, Carleen O’Hara ofUncasville, CT.She was preceded in death by her daughter Marilyn Johnson Thomasson.
