Norma Jean Hampton Morrison

Norma Jean Hampton Morrison, 84, died Saturday, January 3, 2026, at her home.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Great Falls Church of God with Rev. Roy Puckett and Rev. Henry Adams officiating.  Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Tuesday at the church.

Born January 8, 1941 in Chester, SC, Norma Jean was a daughter of the late James Garvin Hampton and Nora Elizabeth Hampton.  She attended the schools of Chester County, SC and was a homemaker.  Norma Jean was a member of Great Falls Church of the Nazarene and attended Great Falls Church of God.  She loved her church and attending "Young at Heart".  She loved to color, watch "I Love Lucy" and pick up pecans.

She is survived by her four children, Kim M. Cooper (Lenny) of Blackstock, Robert Morrison of Richburg, Christopher Morrison (Jessica) of Richburg and Emmette Morrison of Richburg; five grandchildren, Crissy, Jamie, Shelly, Elizabeth, and Steven; 13 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; five sisters-in-law, Hazel Hampton of Michigan, Katie Reeves of Great Falls, Eunice Brown of Tallapoosa, GA and Diane Morrison of Carlisle;  and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Norma Jean was preceded in death by her husband of over 61 years, Wylie Ambrose Morrison, three brothers, Don, Wayne and Gordon Hampton; and four sisters, her twin, Naomi Williams, Melba Thomas, Hazel Wilks and Iris Bostic.
