Mrs. Ozie Albert Granger, 95, passed away Friday, June 17, 2011 at her home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 20, 2011 at First Baptist Church with the Reverend Curtis Cameron officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 Sunday, June 19, 2011 at Dantzler Baker Funeral Home. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Born August 13, 1915 in Glennville, GA, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Georgie Sanders Albert. Mrs. Granger moved to Great Falls at the age of thirteen and was retired from J.P. Stevens after 40 years of service. She was a member of First Baptist Church for over 80 years. She loved working in her flowers, cooking for her family, and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by two sons, Henry Granger and wife Vickie of Camden, SC and Lawrence “Buddy” Granger of Great Falls, SC; one daughter, Laurice Granger Dreher and husband Larry of Lake Watree, SC; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; two great great great grandchildren; and one sister Betty Cochran of Kershaw, SC. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Granger, a sister Mamie McCormick, brothers Harry, Dalton, Charles and John J. Albert and a great great grandson Cody Wrenn.
