Priscilla Tuttle Yoder, 82, died peacefully at her home Thursday, April 10, 2025 surrounded by family. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Mt Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Luke Dickson and Rev. Marty Roberts officiating. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Born February 27, 1943 in Chester County, SC, Mrs. Yoder was the daughter of the late Clarence Tuttle and Laura Sizemore Tuttle. She was the wife of the late David McRoy Yoder, Sr. Mrs. Yoder was owner and retired administrator of Pinebrook Foundry and was known as an entrepreneur, having opened Pinebrook Foundry with her husband in 1983. Mrs. Yoder was a member of First Baptist Church of Great Falls.
She is survived by one daughter, Pamela Yoder Temple (Jerry) of Great Falls, SC; one son, Timmy Yoder (Christie) of Fort Lawn, SC; six grandchildren, Justin Temple (Britney), Jake Temple (Hannah), Jordan Temple Jaillette (Will), Anna Grace Yoder, Chase Yoder and Christien Yoder; seven great grandchildren, Peyton, Parker, Eliza Jane, Taelyn, Teagan, Corbin and Caden; two sisters, Carolyn Tuttle Barton and Dorothy Tuttle Jordan (John Dye), 22 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, David McRoy Yoder, Sr.; a son, David McRoy Yoder, Jr., three brothers, Carl, EG and Billy Tuttle; four sisters, Geraldine McDowell, Joyce Smith, Doris Bailey, Betty Roddey and Ann Tuttle; a sister-in-law: Mary Ann Yoder Teems (Bob) and two nieces.
