Great Falls Mr. Ralph Leon Brunson, 73, died Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at Evangel Temple Assembly of God with Rev. Charlie Thompson and Rev. David Ussery officiating.Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, February 3, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC and from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Wednesday, February 4, in the social hall at Evangel Temple Assembly of God, 22 Nickey Rd., Great Falls, SC. Mr. Brunson was born September 28, 1941 in Great Falls, SC and was a son of the late Lucius Loins Brunson and Pauline West Brunson.He was a graduate of Great Falls High School and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.He was employed as an auto body repairman and formerly worked for Hendrick’s, Kirby’s Body Shop, Fort Mill Ford, S&M. Body Shop in Pineville, and B&R Body Shop in Charlotte.Mr. Brunson was a charter member of Evangel Temple Assembly of God. He is survived by his wife, Claudine “Dean” B. Brunson; one son, Michael L. Brunson of Great Falls; two grandchildren, Roy Brunson of the home and Kayla Brunson of Great Falls; and one sister, Paulette Brunson of Arizona.
