GREAT FALLS: Mr. Ralph Edgar Jones, Sr. died Wednesday July 8, 2009 at Chester Regional Nursing Center.He was 92. Funeral services will be 12:30 Saturday at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Cameron officiating.Interment will be private. Born November 7, 1916 in Lancaster County, SC, Mr. Jones was a son of the late Edgar and Bessie Adams Jones.He attended Lancaster County Schools and formerly owned and operated Ralph Jones Grocery in Great Falls.He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Surviving are his sons, Ralph Jones, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Mauldin, SC and Richard A. Jones, Sr. and his wife Rachel of Great Falls; daughter, LaVerne "Tootie" Hawley and husband John of York, SC; 5 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife Minnie Barton Jones.
