Great Falls Mr. Ralph Lewis “Butch” Towery, Sr., 71, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.Interment will be private. Mr. Towery was born June,24, 1940 in Rutherfordton, NC and was a son of the late Ben Murphy Towery and Blanche Greene Towery.He attended the schools of Great Falls and was retired from Springs Industries. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Poole Towery; one son, Lewis Towery, Jr. and wife Barbara of Great Falls; two daughters, Debbie Towery of Great Falls and Shari Pate and husband “Cotton” of Kershaw; six grandchildren, Justin Dixon of Lancaster, Jade and L.T. Towery of Great Falls, Chad and Ryan Pate of Kershaw, and Garrett Byers of Elgin; three great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Jackson, and Brantley; three brothers, Robert Towery of Fort Collins, Colorado, Dudley Towery of Henderson, Nevada, and Gene Towery of Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.; one sister, Mozelle Jones of Great Falls.He was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Towery and Herman Towery. Memorials may be made to The American Heart Association, P.O.
