Randall Dean Smith, Sr.

Great Falls Mr. Randall Dean Smith, Sr. 68, died Sunday, April 9, 2023 at his home. All services are private. Mr. Smith was born March 20, 1955 in Columbia, SC and was a son of the late Ollie Wendell Smith and Betty Jean Hunt Smith. He was a graduate of Airport High School in Columbia, SC and Midlands Tech and attended USC-Columbia. Mr. Smith was retired from Westinghouse as a mechanical engineer. He was a former little league baseball coach and he loved to fish and hunt. Randy was talented in fixing most anything and his family was his deepest love. He is survived by his wife of over 48 years, Sheree Humphries Smith; one son, Randall Dean Smith, Jr.(Marie) of Irmo, SC; one daughter, Dawn Marie Smith of Queensland, Australia; eight grandchildren, Kyle, Ashley, Tyler, McKenzie, Jack, John, Eleanor and Trent; three brothers, Ollie Wendell Smith, Jr. (Wanda) of St. Matthews, Ricky Smith (Janice) of Pelion, SC and Johnny Smith of Shelby, NC; one sister, Tammy Sloop of Pelion, SC; numerous nieces and nephew. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Christopher Lee Smith.
