Great Falls Mr. Ray Ernest Hammonds, 85, of Great Falls died Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Springs Memorial Hospital, Lancaster, SC.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 1, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Great Falls with Rev. Greg Batchelor and Rev. Curtis Cameron officiating.Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Great Falls. Born March 14, 1924, he was a son of the late Henry Patrick and Emma Lowe Hammonds.He was a member of First Baptist Church of Great Falls. He is survived by his sister, Joyce Emma Daw and husband, Ted of Hixson, TN.; niece, Sheree Smith and husband, Randall; nephew, David Humphries; great niece, Dawn Smith; great nephew, Randall Smith, Jr. and wife, Rochelle; great niece, Breeanna Humphries; great-great nephew, Trent Van Krieken; and great-great nieces and nephews, Kyle, Ashley, and Tyler Smith. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls.
