Richard Wayne Loflin

Great Falls Mr. Richard Wayne Loflin, 65, died Saturday, August 3, 2013, at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Georgia.A graveside service will be held at on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Mary Anne Welch officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service. Mr. Loflin was born August 27, 1947, in Wilmington, NC and was a son of the late Harold Jessie Loflin and Nellie Margaret Simmons Loflin.He was a graduate of Great Falls High School class of 1965 and attended Appalachian State University.Mr. Loflin served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era andwas employed for 32 years as a production controller with the U.S. Navy.He was a member of Mt. Dearborn United Methodist Church. He is survived by two brothers, Larry Loflin and wife Lisa and Keith Loflin both of Great Falls; anda nephew, Kevin Loflin of Charleston, SC.
