Fort Lawn Richard Gregory "Greg" Pettit, 37, died Sunday, June 27, 2010.A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Elmwood Cemetery in Fort Lawn with Rev. Stacy Hinson officiating. Born February 11, 1973, he was a son of Herbert P. Pettit, Jr. and Linda Grant Pettit.He attended Great Falls High School and was a member of Fort Lawn Baptist Church.He was formerly employed as a truck driver with Werner Trucking Co. and Carolina Cargo Trucking Co. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one son, Trever Newland of Great Falls and was preceded in death by two brothers, Bryan Kevin Pettit and Russell Preston Pettit.
