Fort Lawn Mr. Robert Delano Crosby, 73, died , Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at his home. A celebration of lifeservice will be held4:00 PM Saturday, March 16 at Catawba United MethodistChurch , 4785 College Rd. Catawba, SC 29704,with Rev. Beth Drennen and Rev. Paul Crosby officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall of the church. He was born June 19, 1945 in Catawba, SC and was a son of the late Charles Murphy Crosby and Ann Ligon Crosby. Mr. Crosby was a pipefitter for Southeastern Industrial and was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Crosby is survived by one daughter Tanya Terryof Fort Lawn; one son Charles Crosby of Groton, Conn;two grandchildren, Tripp Totherow of Kershaw, SCand Chase Crosby of Fort Mill, SC ; one great-grandson Zachary Totherow of Dizell, SC; one sister, Jane Weaver of Lesley, SC; three brothers, Curtis Crosby ( Dianne), Jerry Crosby ( Mike), and Ned Crosby (Pasty); and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; he was preceded in death by three brothers, Baxter, Charles and Billy Crosby; and four sisters, Katheryn Cowhig, MargarittDurhum , and Shirley Stevens.
