Blackstock Mr. Robert Bailey “Bobby” Dixon, Jr., 83, died on Monday, October 24, 2016 in Chester, SC. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Hebron Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jim Williams officiating.Interment will follow at Hebron Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the Social Hall of the Church. Born January 20, 1933 in Fairfield County, Mr. Dixon was a son of the late Robert Bailey Dixon and Nancy Franks Dixon.He was a graduate of Blackstock High School and was self-employed as an auto mechanic.Mr. Dixon was a veteran of the U S Army and a member of Hebron Presbyterian Church. He is survived by two sons, Robert F. Dixon of Blackstock, SC and William M. “Billy” Dixon and wife, Joanie both of Blackstock, SC; five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
