Robert Allen Lanoue

Lancaster Mr. Robert Allen Lanoue, 62, died Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at his home. Funeral services will be held Sunday 3:00 PM , November 18, 2018, at Frontline Biker Church, 7728 Hwy 341 Kershaw, SC 29067, with Rev. Cotton Pate officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery, 2543 Mountain Gap Road, Richburg, SC 29729. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday at Dantzler Baker Funeral Home 26 Underwood Ave, Great Falls SC 29055 and other times at the home of Kimberly Tillman. Mr. Lanoue was born July 1, 1956 in Lancaster, SC and was a son of the late John Edward Lanoue and Betty Jean Yarborough Lanoue. He graduated from Lancaster High School Class of 1975 and was formerly employed with Barnett Medical Supply in Lancaster, SC and Springs Industries. He attended Catawba Baptist Church. Allen was formerly a Dixie Youth Baseball Coach , enjoyed sports and was an avid motorcyclist. Allen was a firefighter with Gooches Fire Dept. for 36 years. He was a former Lt. Capt. and Asst. Chief and was also the first firefighter in Lancaster County to earn the First Responder of the year award with Lancaster County EMS. Allen loved serving his community for many years and will greatly be missed by many. Gooches 10 answered his final call on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. Rest easy brother and we will take it from here. He is survived by his FiancéRoxanne Furr of Richburg, SC ; three sons, Dustin Lanoue of Heath Springs, Travis Nichols of Heath Springs, Sam Furr, Jr of Buford; three daughters, Kimberly Tillman (Kevin) of Lancaster , Kimberly Johnson (Steven) of Richburg, Kelly Pressley (Britt) of Richburg; nine grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one brother, Donald Lanoue ( Rebecca) of Fort Lawn.
