Robert Dean Spinks, Jr.

Robert Dean Spinks, Jr. 54, of Gaffney, SC, formerly of Great Falls, went home to be with his Lord Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 25, 2024, at Mitford Baptist Church with Rev. Marty Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Monday at the church. Robert was born February 10, 1970 and was a son of Mary Spinks and the late Robert Dean Spinks, Sr. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Tammy Gibson (Marvin) and Amanda Roof (Brad); two daughters, Tela Potvin (Billy) and Rain Sutton (Hunter); and a proud grandfather to four grandchildren, Cam, Emmie, Holden and Huntlee. In addition to his father, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Spinks and grandparents, Banks and Thelma Lucas and Johnny and Edna Spinks.
