Great Falls Mr. Roger Dale Alley, 63, died Saturday, August 31, 2014 at Chester RegionalMedical Center.A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Lando Cemetery, Lando, SC The family will receive friends anytime at the home of Wayne and Brenda Alley, 24 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC and immediately following the service at the graveside. Mr. Alley was born May 28, 1951 in Rock Hill, SC and was a son of the late Samuel Calvin Alley and Margaret Rainer Stroud.He attended Oakley Hall and Lewisville High School.Mr. Alley served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam andreceived the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with One Bronze Star, and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.He was a member of the Lando United Methodist Church. He is survived by one brother, Wayne Alley and hiswife Brenda of Great Falls and two step-daughters, Diane Payne of Lando and Judy ? of Greenwood, SC.
