Fort Lawn Mr. Chalmers Roger Williams, Jr., 68, died Monday, January 25, 2016 at Pruitt Health Care in Rock Hill, SC.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Zack Williams officiating.Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the committal at the cemetery. Born January 20, 1948, in Lancaster, SC, he was a son of the late Chalmers R. Williams, Sr. and Myrtle Elizabeth Baker Williams. Mr. Williams attended Great Falls Schools and retired from Lance in Charlotte, NC.He was a former member of Great Falls Rescue Squad. Mr. Williams is survived by one son, Timmy R. Williams (fiancé’ Nikki Pressley); one daughter, Kristi Knight (Marty) of Myrtle Beach, SC; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Brenda Henson of Great Falls; and his companion, Mary Welch of Chester, SC.He was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Henson.
