Great Falls Mr. Roger Wayne Woods, Sr., 57, died Tuesday, December 8, 2015.Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at Evergreen Cemetery in Chester with Rev. Zack Williams officiating.The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM on Thursday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC. Mr. Woods was born November 13, 1958 in Chester, SC and was a son of the late Chivers Woods and Pearl Dawkins Woods.He attended theschools of Chester County.Mr. Woods was employed as a mechanic for Stevenson-Weir and formerly worked for Springs Industries. He is survived by one son, Brad T. Woods of Kershaw; one daughter, Angie Woods of Great Falls; six grandchildren; three brothers, Chivers Woods of Lancaster, Charles Woods of Rock Hill, and Furman Woods of Chester; and two sisters, Diane Wilburn and Virginia Pack both of Blackstock.Mr. Woods was preceded in death by a son, Roger Wayne Woods, Jr. Memorials may be made to Second Baptist Church, P.O.
