Great Falls Mrs. Rosalie Elizabeth Case Baker Adams, 81, died Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 10, 2015, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Simpson and Rev. James Howard Baker officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday in the sanctuary of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 6924 Wateree Rd., Great Falls, SC. Mrs. Adams was born August 31, 1933 in Darlington, SC and was a daughter of the late Furman Charles Case and Hattie Dixon Case.She attended the schools of Great Falls, York Tech, and earned her cosmetology degree from Camden School of Cosmetology. She was owner and operator of a beauty salon and former co-owner of Dearborn Coffee Shop.Mrs. Adams was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School teacher, church clerk for 25 years, chairperson of the cemetery committee and other church committees.Mrs. Adams was an accomplished seamstress and anyone who knew her during her life knew of her many talents that she shared with others. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Ray Adams; three daughters, Sherry Baker and husband Rev. James Howard Baker of Walterboro, SC, Pamela Squires and husband Chuck of Waxhaw, NC , and Trina Miller and husband Robert of Great Falls, SC; one step-daughter, Rose Allman (Alan) of Denver. NC; seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry Case (Marlene) of Myrtle Beach, SC; and two sisters, Barbara Graham (Malcolm) of Columbia, SC and Ogreeda Gowan of Spartanburg, SC.She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wonzel William Baker and two brothers, Raymond Case and Jackie Case.
