Lancaster Mrs. Ruby Mae Oakley Dixon, 68, died Monday, May 30, 2016 at Wayne T. Patrick House in Rock Hill, SC.A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, June 3, 2016 at Great Falls Church of the Nazarene withPastor Henry Adams, Rev. Zack Williams and Rev. Keith Hinson officiating.Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home. Born January 7, 1948 in Chesterfield County, SC, Mrs. Dixon was a daughter of the late Johnny C. Oakley and Annie Mae Rivers Oakley.She is a graduate of the schools of Great Falls and retired from Springs Industries.Mrs. Dixon was a member of the Great Falls Church of the Nazarene and a extremely dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of over 51 years, Charles Junior Dixon; three children, Charles Robin Dixon and his wife, Joy of Great Falls, SC, Sandra Dixon Howard and her husband, Steve of Rock Hill, SC, and Timothy Brian Dixon of Rock Hill, SC; four grandchildren, Amanda Henson, Ashleigh Dixon, Christopher Dixon, and Kimberly Howard; two great-grandchildren, Emmalynn Henson and Brantley Howard; two sisters, Linda Oakley of Chesterfield, SC and Diane Irby of Myrtle Beach, SC; and one brother, Sonny “Buck” Oakley of Chesterfield, SC.Mrs. Dixon was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Alexander Howard.
