Lancaster Mr. Samuel Robin “Rob” Allen, 63, died Tuesday, July 16, 2013, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.A memorialservice will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, July 19, 2013, at Tabernacle Ministries with Rev. Kenneth Compton officiating.Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Friday at Tabernacle Ministries, 4500 Great Falls Hwy., Great Falls, SC. Mr. Allen was born September 5, 1949 in Long Island, New York and was a son of the late William Allen and Karamae Ruth Allen.He served in the U.S. Marines and was employed as a mechanic at Duracell in Lancaster for more than 17 years. He is survived by four daughters, Lisa Allen, Frannie Allen, and Ginger Payne all of Great Falls and Jazzman Allen of Lancaster; one son, Jackson Allen of Lancaster; two sisters, Dian Milwood and Patricia Moore both of Chester; one brother, Russell Milwood; and seven grandchildren.
