Lancaster Mrs. Sandra Elaine Grady Bowers, 68, died Monday, May 12, 2014, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 16, 2014, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home with Rev. Zack Williams officiating.Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 15, at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls, SC. Mrs. Bowers was born March 23, 1946 in Great Falls and was a daughter of the late James F. Grady and Bertha Campbell Grady.She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and University of South Carolina at Lancaster School of Nursing.Mrs. Bowers was a retired registered nurse. She is survived by two daughters, Chrystal Vanderford and fiancé Paul Cross of Lancaster and Tracie Pickett and husband Joe of Indian Land; one son, William M. Terry, Jr. and fiancé Tanya Crosby of Fort Lawn; four grandchildren, Jonathan, Bradley, Jerrica, and Brelaine; and two great-grandchildren, Jaden and Dawson.She was preceded in death by her husband, James Douglas Bowers and a son, James Allen Bowers.
